As a San Diego locksmith for over 5 years now in the area I have come across a lot of challenges that have really put my skills to the test. The challenge of this industry is what I love. Every day that I work in Prestige Locksmith there is something different; from the time that I helped an elderly woman open her shed door where her beloved cat was trapped for three days, to last week when I had the pleasure of unlocking the doors to a brand new AMG Mercedes, my job always keeps me on my toes and feeling satisfied at the end of the day.
Truly helping people is why I have become so successful as a San Diego locksmith.
So many other locksmiths in San Diego put the money first. With so much focus on the money they lose the feeling of joy that can be obtained when offering locksmith services in San Diego. For me, it’s hard to even imagine what it would feel like if I focused solely on the money. I surely would not have lasted this long if my goal at the end of the day was to make as much money as possible.
It all boils down to one thing for me; at the end of the day did I give it 100% and did I help as many people as I could?
For me there is not a more rewarding feeling than to be able to help someone. Whether it is the time when I helped my real estate agent friend with a San Diego commercial locksmith job in which I replaced 1000+ locks within the building, or the guy stranded with his car keys locked in the door at the beach, I love the smile on the faces of my clients when I am able to offer a professional job at a fair rate.
Probably the most rewarding aspect of this job is all of the new friends that I make on a daily bases. San Diego is a very diverse city with people from all walks of life. From doctors, engineers, to the blue collar worker, I meet so many interesting people and have made a lot of really close friends along the way. That is what it is about for me; it’s about experiencing the joy of helping people and meeting new people!
My friends always joke with me, and say that being a locksmith is “in my blood” because I am just so passionate about being a locksmith in San Diego. I am the way that I am because I feel so blessed to be working in this beautiful city, to be able to drive through the rolling hills of San Diego, past the beaches and to be able to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
More so, locksmithing is a craft which offers a technical aspect to it that cannot be found in any other industry. From high-tech automotive locks, digital residential locks, to the most modern security systems of today, being a locksmith in San Diego not only stimulates me on a personal level with the customer engagement that I have on a daily bases, but the technical aspects of this challenging field reward me beyond what would be possible in any other field. And yes, being a locksmith is “in my blood”. Lol
